  1. Install from the store

    Select Add to Chrome above and confirm installation in the store. In Edge, follow the instructions to allow extensions from the Chrome Web Store.

  2. Pin the Short icon to your toolbar

    Open the extensions menu at the top right of your browser and pin the existing Korean extension.

  3. Create and copy from any page

    Click the Short icon → check the URL → create a short link → copy it. You can also use Alt + Shift + S. If it conflicts with another shortcut, change it in your browser's extension shortcut settings.

Before you install

Do I need an account or sign-in?

No. This version creates guest links lasting 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, or 30 days. They are not saved in your account dashboard. Use the website for permanent links and account management.

What information does it use?

When opened, the extension reads the current tab URL. When you create a link, it sends your URL, short code, and expiration to the existing Korean service. Recent links, expiration dates, and settings stay in this browser. It does not read or automatically send page content or browsing history.

Does clearing history delete my links?

Clearing history removes only this browser's local list. Existing links work until their selected expiration. Use the contact page to request deletion of server data.

Does it work outside Chrome and Edge?

This version supports desktop Chrome and Edge. Safari and Firefox are not supported. Use the website on other browsers and mobile devices.
