Privacy policy

Our policy for processing personal information.

1. Personal information collected

• On registration: Google account email and personal code (username)
• Existing email-based accounts: Username, email, and securely stored password retained during the transition
• During service use: URL visits, visit counts, and hourly aggregate counts by referring domain, device type, browser, and country
• When sharing files: Uploaded files (documents, images, archives, etc., up to 5 GB) and file name/size metadata

Link analytics do not store raw IP addresses, visitor identification cookies, raw User-Agent strings, or referrer URL paths and queries. Only categorized visit counts are aggregated hourly and provided to the member managing the link. These analytics are deleted with the link.

Word clouds store submitted words, participation times, random browser identifiers, and duplicate-request identifiers. To limit excessive requests, a hash specific to each word cloud is stored instead of the raw IP address. Hosts and participants receive word-level aggregates only. Participation cookies last up to one year; responses and related identifiers are deleted with the word cloud link. Anyone with the link can see public word counts, so do not submit personal information.

Wall

Walls store posts, nicknames, comments, likes, attachments, and creation times. Signed-in users are identified by their account; guests use random participation cookies lasting up to one year to edit their posts and manage likes. Nicknames are not verified identities. Account and browser identifiers are not disclosed to other participants. Wall-specific IP hashes used for rate limits are used for up to one minute and deleted with the wall.

Anyone with the link can view public posts and attachments. Pending posts are visible only to their author and the moderator. Large photos are compressed in the browser before upload; originals are not sent. Deleting or expiring a link also removes posts, comments, likes, and attachments. Access stops immediately on expiration; cleanup runs every 10 minutes. Failed attachment deletions are retried, and unpublished attachments are cleaned up after one hour.

When a guest creates a word cloud, a management cookie is stored in that browser until link expiration. The server stores only a hash of the management key. Deleting this cookie permanently removes guest management access.

2. Purposes of processing

• Providing the service and managing accounts
• Operating short-link sharing for URLs, text, and files
• Improving the service and analyzing aggregate statistics
• Sending essential service, security, and terms notices, and optional emails when you consent

3. Retention periods

Account information is kept until account deletion and removed immediately upon deletion. Guest short links are removed automatically after expiration. Expiring or deleting a file-sharing link also deletes its stored file. Member file-sharing links and files are automatically deleted after three months without a visit.

4. Third-party disclosure

We do not provide personal information to third parties. Email infrastructure such as Amazon SES may be used to deliver messages; email addresses are transmitted solely for that purpose.

5. Information protection

Passwords are securely hashed with bcrypt. Communications use SSL/TLS encryption.

6. Email preferences

• Essential notices: Essential service, security, and terms notices cannot be disabled. The sender is noreply@숏.한국 .
• Optional email consent: Opt in or out of news and optional notices in your profile. Unsubscribe links in emails also apply only to optional messages.

7. Your rights

• You may view, edit, or delete your account information at any time.
• Change your email preferences and password in your profile.
• Delete your account to remove your personal information.
